Controversial I Know, But Personally I Don't Eat Pork, I'll Tell You Why!
Written by  Amelia Love  on Dec. 26th 2018
There are two main reasons. For those that know my history, I had terrible issues with endometriosis. While studying how to heal myself, many experts advice to avoid pork, along with sugar and gluten. For me this ended up being great advise as not only has my gynecological issues cleared up. But I also discovered that I had an intolerance to gluten. In addition to that, having had an unfortunate amount of IV antibiotics in my life, I also suffer with candida in my stomach.

So avoiding sugar is also a wise thing for me to do. Then second reason that I avoid pork is that on my spiritual journey I found that when I consumed pork my negative feelings like fear and anger were increased. To this day I have not eaten it in 14 years. I know the vegan's out there will be screaming "obviously!" but I do actually consume some other meat products and organic dairy products.

But that is due to my reactive hypoglycemia, but that's another story. Consuming protein every 2.5 hours, means I take what I can get. It was caused by the extremely said IV antibiotics, they cooked my liver a bit. There is a third reason but I will save that for my advanced course.. hope your day is going great.. must dash.. Have You Earned Your Tomorrow
By Edgar Guest
Is anybody happier because you passed his way?
Does anyone remember that you spoke to him today?
This day is almost over, and its toiling time is through;
Is there anyone to utter now a kindly word of you?
Did you give a cheerful greeting to the friend who came along?
Or a churlish sort of "Howdy" and then vanish in the throng?
Were you selfish pure and simple as you rushed along the way,
Or is someone mighty grateful for a deed you did today?
Can you say tonight, in parting with the day that's slipping fast,
That you helped a single brother of the many that you passed?
Is a single heart rejoicing over what you did or said;
Does a man whose hopes were fading now with courage look ahead?
Did you waste the day, or lose it, was it well or sorely spent?
Did you leave a trail of kindness or a scar of discontent?
As you close your eyes in slumber do you think that God would say,
You have earned one more tomorrow by the work you did today?

Human Family
By Maya Angelou
I note the obvious differences
in the human family.
Some of us are serious,
some thrive on comedy.
Some declare their lives are lived
as true profundity,
and others claim they really live
the real reality.
The variety of our skin tones
can confuse, bemuse, delight,
brown and pink and beige and purple,
tan and blue and white.
I've sailed upon the seven seas
and stopped in every land,
I've seen the wonders of the world
not yet one common man.
I know ten thousand women
called Jane and Mary Jane,
but I've not seen any two
who really were the same.
Mirror twins are different
although their features jibe,
and lovers think quite different thoughts
while lying side by side.
We love and lose in China,
we weep on England's moors,
and laugh and moan in Guinea,
and thrive on Spanish shores.
We seek success in Finland,
are born and die in Maine.
In minor ways we differ,
in major we're the same.
I note the obvious differences
between each sort and type,
but we are more alike, my friends,
than we are unalike.
We are more alike, my friends,
than we are unalike.
We are more alike, my friends,
than we are unalike.
